Welcome
I am excited about the launch of this website along with my new album entitled "Precious Musical Moments" available here or through a music store near you.
When I created this website, my intention was to share my passion for music with others who have the same kind of love for music as I do. I also wanted an outlet where I could tell you about some of the fun musical events, trivia and experiences that I am currently involved with. A place where all of you can be be a part of my dream of helping children around the world by giving them an opportunity to be exposed to music .
I feel very fortunate to have connected with www.freethechildren.com and will be donating a portion of my CD sales to help educate children in China. I chose China, because my violin teacher is from China. Also, because I realized that some of the children over there just don’t have the things we do here because of the environment they live in.
We recorded in a beautiful church located in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. I chose that church because I played in a competition there once and loved the acoustics so much; I asked if I could record my CD there. Recording live wasn’t easy, there may be a few background noises. We had to stop at one point while recording because someone was using a leaf blower outside and I almost burst into laughter as we were trying to play one of the pieces. A few planes flew over us, we even had an ambulance siren, and unannounced visitors – it was quite an adventure! Nevertheless, we had success and I truly hope you enjoy my album as I look forward to hearing from you.
